Anyone actually had success with sleep/relaxation gadgets?

Lately I’ve been struggling with sleep — either I can’t fall asleep easily or I wake up feeling like I didn’t actually rest. I started looking into different devices that claim to help with sleep & recovery, and now I’m wondering if any of them actually work.

Stuff I’ve seen around:
  • Smartwatches/trackers that monitor sleep stages & recovery (Garmin, Whoop, Oura, etc.)
  • White noise machines / sound apps for relaxation
  • Light-based devices that mimic sunrise/sunset
  • Breathing/relaxation gadgets that guide your breathing rhythm
  • Even things like weighted blankets that supposedly calm the nervous system
I’m curious — has anyone here tried these kinds of devices? Did you actually notice better sleep/recovery, or was it just expensive placebo?
Looking for real-world experiences before I end up impulse-buying half the sleep tech on Amazon 😂
