Okay, so I’ve always struggled with bloating and occasional stomach discomfort after meals. A friend casually mentioned bay leaf tea, and I was like… sure, why not?
I just boiled some water, threw in 2 dried bay leaves, let it simmer for like 7 minutes, and added a little honey. First sip? Honestly… kinda earthy, but not bad at all.
Here’s the crazy part: after a week of drinking 1 cup after lunch, I noticed my digestion felt way lighter. Bloating was down, and I wasn’t feeling that heavy, sleepy “ugh” feeling after meals. Bonus: the smell is actually really calming, so it’s like a mini stress-relief thing too.
I don’t know if it’s magic or placebo, but this little tea has actually become my go-to afternoon ritual.
Totally didn’t expect that from bay leaves lol.
