After an accident and recovery I keep getting this strange back and neck pain it’s like certain spots lock up and feel heavy not sharp but constant dull drag. Sometimes even turning head feels stiff i thought it would fade with time but weeks later. It keeps showing up pain tablets help for short while but never clears it.
Get this after healing up from an accident what actually worked to get rid of it for good?

After a car hit me few years back thought once bones healed pain would stop but it just hangs around. mine was muscles and nerves tightening up around the injured spots. painkillers only mask it for a bit. What helped me was deep tissue massage and slow rehab stuff not just resting. Some ppl use muscle relaxers or anti inflammatory meds too. You try any proper physio or just hoping it goes on its own?

After accident recovery the back and neck never felt the same again, not sharp pain but that dragging stiff kind that doesn’t let go. Turning head feels like something stuck inside. Weeks pass and it still comes back even with tablets. Sometimes I wonder if it’s muscle damage or nerves healing wrong. Some people told me physio or posture training helps long term but i haven’t found a full fix yet.
Have you checked if it’s spine related or just muscle tension?

After a bike accident at first i thought once the wounds healed the pain would go too but it stuck around in my neck and upper back. Some days it felt like my muscles were turning into stone, couldn’t even sit long without that dull pull kicking in. pain meds only gave a few hours of break and then it was back. What actually started helping was regular stretching and slowly building strength with light exercises, plus heat packs before bed. Took a while but it loosened things up more than just pills. have you tried physio or gentle movement stuff?
