Parasitic skin problems come when small organisms live on or under skin.

Scabies:
Tiny mites burrow under skin, cause intense itching worse at night, red lines or bumps. spreads by close contact.

Lice:
Head lice in hair, body lice on clothes, pubic lice in groin. cause itching and small red bites. spread by sharing combs, clothes or bedding.

Leishmaniasis:
Parasite from sandfly bite, leads to sores that may not heal, sometimes leave scars.

Cutaneous larva migrans:
Hookworm larvae from soil or sand get into skin, cause winding red itchy tracks.

Myiasis:
Fly larvae grow inside skin wounds, painful lumps with discharge.

Care needs proper medicine to kill parasite, clean hygiene, avoid sharing items, and protect from insect bites.

Parasite skin troubles often bring long lasting discomfort. Scabies makes sleepless nights with itching so strong it feels unbearable. Lice spread fast in families or schools and can keep coming back even after washing. Leishmaniasis leaves scars that remind of the bite for years. Larva migrans creeps under skin in strange red lines, making people panic. Myiasis shocks many when they see larvae inside a sore. These are not just rashes but real invasions needing proper treatment. without right care they don’t go away on their own and can spread to others.

Myiasis happens when fly lays eggs on open wound or skin, larvae hatch and grow inside. Signs are painful swelling, boil like lumps, pus or movement under skin. Risk higher in tropical areas, poor hygiene, untreated wounds. Treatment is removal of larvae by doctor, cleaning wound, antibiotics if infection. prevention is covering wounds, insect repellent, keeping skin clean, avoiding flies around injuries.

Leishmaniasis comes from bite of infected sandfly. Parasite enters skin and causes sores that may start as small bumps then turn into ulcers. skin type shows wounds that heal slow and may leave scars. visceral type affects inside organs like liver and spleen, causes fever, weight loss, weak body, swelling of belly. Mucocutaneous type harms nose and mouth tissue. Common in tropical and subtropical areas. risk higher in poor housing, weak immunity, or places with many sandflies. Treatment needs special medicines to kill parasite and protect organs. Prevention is avoiding bites by using nets, covering skin, and spraying insect areas.
