Symptoms change with type of virus but some are common. fever, tiredness, cough, runny or blocked nose, sore throat, body pain, muscle aches, swollen glands, rashes, stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, headaches, chills. In some cases breathing trouble, yellow eyes, or confusion can appear. Signs may come fast or slowly and can last days to weeks depending on infection and body strength.

Last month a neighbor’s kid caught a virus, first it was just runny nose and cough. Then fever came with body pain and tiredness, later a rash showed up. Some days it looked better then worse again. Doctor said common with viral infections, signs shift and last different times for each person.
