Every night i go to bed tired but my brain won’t shut off. Even when i do drift off i wake up again and again. By morning it’s like I never slept at all, head feels heavy body dragging. I stopped coffee tried warm milk nothing works. Days feel blurry and i just push through half awake.
Did this restless sleep that makes you more tired instead of rested?

My nights like that too, laying there eyes closed but mind just keeps racing. I look at the clock and hours gone but feels like i never really slept. Next day i’m dragging myself through work half alive. I tried cutting screens, drinking chamomile, even changing pillow but it still comes back. The only thing that helps me crash is exhausting myself with a long walk or workout but even then it’s not solid sleep. It’s the worst when your body feels done but your head won’t switch off.

Restless sleep feels worse than not sleeping at all. mind keeps running body never shuts down fully so you wake up heavy and drained. Cutting coffee or trying milk helps some but not for everyone. Stress sometimes hormones or even sleep environment. many people deal with this broken sleep cycle and end up dragging through the day. If it keeps going best to get it checked cause proper sleep is the only way body and brain recover.

Had same stretch last winter, was working late then straight to bed but never really sleeping. I'd lie there staring at ceiling, thoughts running like a train. When sleep came it broke every hour, sometimes with weird dreams. Mornings felt like carrying bricks on my shoulders, eyes burning, brain fog so bad even simple talks felt heavy. Tried cutting screens, warm showers, dark curtains, nothing clicked right away. only after setting a routine and keeping it strict it started to ease, but it took weeks. it’s rough cause body asks for rest but mind refuses to slow.
